I had 3 buyers pull out so the whole process took over a year until successful completion of the sale, but they have been patient and supportive all along. Having had numerous (negative) experiences with larger/more established estate agents, we were happy to deal with approachable, communicative agents that provided the highest standard in terms of service, everything you would expect for such a life changing purchase. A special shout out to Will and Jake who each played their part at every stage to get us to completion. From listening to us, understanding all of the development and features of our property, to marketing us online effectively, to having excellent, up-to-date local knowledge of the changing street-by-street intricacies of our bit of Forest Gate, to finding and communicating with potential buyers and managing queries and obstacles so as to expedite the process all the way to exchange/completion, we could not have been happier with the service we received. Somehow, we could trust that in an unwieldy market, with many obstacles, challenges (and the dreaded chain!) we were in the best hands to support us. We knew that whenever potential buyers were shown around our property, the best care was taken to present all features and selling points, as good as if we were there ourselves and Wilkinson’s approach of allocating one agent, in our case Will, to a property to do all viewings (which is so often not the case elsewhere) meant there was a high level of consistency, knowledge and understanding with each and every opportunity maximised. As well as selling the properly significantly over asking price they also didn’t hesitate to help when I needed recommendations for a local gardener, cleaner, etc. I have now moved away from the area so won’t need their services again, but would definitely use them again if the opportunity arose.
