Situated across the road from the Forest Gate railway station, The Forest Tavern is and always has been a community pub for the area.
Formerly the Railway Tavern, the Forest Tavern has six real ale pumps and 2 t-bars; our ales rotate monthly and there wine list has something to match every meal or occasion. They have a small British seasonal menu and list of Specials to tickle the taste buds, or if you just want a nibble, it offer's a range of bar snacks. In summer months they have a barbecue in our beer garden, while always offering a traditional Sunday roast throughout the year.
